Kochi : Dr. Mohammed Ali, CMD Gulfar group and Le meridian hotel, was chosen for Life Time Achievement Award of Event Management Association Kerala. Mr. M M Abdul Basheer, his brother, received the award on behalf of Dr. Mohammed Ali at ‘The Silent Heroes Awards 2020’, held at Le Meridien Kochi.
‘The Silent Heroes Awards 2020’ is an initiative of EMAK aims to provide a platform to felicitate and honour the outstanding performance and tremendous contribution of all the Event Industry Associates, Artists, Technical Solution Providers and Vendors, coming together to share their accomplishments, ideas and experiences and taking the State of Kerala to greater heights and glory, said Mr. Martin Emmanuel, President, EMAK.
Mr. Hibi Eden MP Inaugurated the function and Mr. Sabbas Joseph, Founder-Director, Wizcraft International and Wizcraft MIME, delivered the keynote address. Mr. Sabbas Joseph, Mr. Neelabh Kapoor, Founder and Creative Director, Studio Neelabh and Mr. Tejus Jose, General Manager, Le Meridien, Kochi led panel discussions about ‘The Latest Trends in Event Management’, ‘The WOW Factor of Wedding’ and ‘Expectations from Events Industry’, respectively.
Padmasri Dr. Jose Chacko Periappuram, Mr. Raju Kannampuzha, General Secretary, Reby Thomas, Treasurer, and Arabind Chandrasekhar, Joint Secretary were also present at the occasion. EMAK presented a total of 44 awards in 5 categories (Event Décor and Production, Technical Support and Solutions, Entertainment Design, Venue and Catering Solutions and Personalised Solutions). Electrifying performances by Stephen Devassy, Naresh Iyer, 13 year old Steven Samuel, Aalaap Raju, U Rajesh, Michael Joe Francis etc…was the another highlight of the event.
